Contact UsWe do not have a sliding scale. For families needing after-school care, we encourage them to apply with CCAP (Child Care Assistant Program). Martial arts is included with the after-school care. Students on CCAP must attend a minimum of 3 days of after-school care at our facility.
Speak to the center director, Maryam, and she can guide you through the process. {she doesn't bite, promise}
The after-school program is held at 4411 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL 60031.
We have our main building where (it looks like a house) and our dojo (it looks like a garage but SO much more).
But don't let the exterior fool you!

Martial arts can be started at any age, with programs available for children, teens, and adults. The appropriate age often depends student's physical and mental readiness. We have classes beginning at 4 years old. Check out our 2-week trial classes HERE.
Comfortable athletic wear is recommended and bring a water bottle!
Gi's are available for purchase and would be required for membership after trial classes.
No, martial arts training helps improve fitness levels over time.Ā
Our members begin at all different fitness levels.
It depends on your goals and schedule, Our member requires a minimum of 2 times a week. More frequent training can be beneficial as you advance and may be needed to prepare for tournaments.

Notify us prior for any extended time off that exceeds 5 days and we'll freeze your account so you don't loose out on anything!Ā

We do ask for a commitment. Come to each class mentally prepared to work. Give your best always and challenge yourself to do more each class.

While consistency is key, we know life happens.
Classes can be made up the same week or the following week if needed.

Basic uniforms are required after any trial period.
Gloves are required within the first month and must be purchased through our studio.
Competition is optional for students interested in testing their skills in a competitive setting.
We will ALWAYS encourage students to participate andĀ rip the band-aidĀ off the first time.Ā
The initial tournament helps get theĀ jitters out for students and gives them a taste for the competition.
