Sensei Faouzi Touati has had a passion for martial arts since the 1980s which began with 4 consecutive national championships in Tunisia in Kata and Kumite. His accomplishments lead him to work for the Tunisian police force for 25 years, training officers in self-defense and weaponry. During this time, he graduated from the Ministry of Youth, Sport, and Physical Education college in Tunisia. His love for marital arts and fitness and working with youth has transferred over to the development of curriculum geared towards building children’s self- confidence through self-defense and creation of his dojo fitness curriculum to assist people of all ages achieve their fitness goals.
He has been actively involved in international karate which includes preparing students for national championship on Kata and Kumite in elite divisions and holding both a Judge A ranking and World Cup Referee title with the World Karate Federation (WKF). Sensei Faouzi holds multiple black belts in two disciplines, most notably a 5th degree black-belt in Shotokan. His greatest accomplishments of all can be seen while he is teaching, meeting students at their level and helping them continually achieve their personal best.
